About the Presenters

 

Danny Lewin, Ph.D., D.ABSM, CBSM, is a licensed clinical psychologist, sleep medicine researcher, clinician and pediatric psychologist. He was the founding director of the Behavioral Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary Behavioral Medicine Program at Children’s National Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Danny served as the director of clinical sleep medicine at the National Institutes of Health, National Center on Sleep Research. In addition to directing clinical sleep medicine programs, he was director of an NIH-funded sleep research laboratory. He has published more than 50 articles and chapters. Danny is a certified yoga and meditation teacher and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist.

 

Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche bio photoGeshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is an acclaimed author and a respected teacher of students worldwide. He completed an 11-year course of traditional studies at the Bön Dialectic School at Menri Monastery near Dolanji, India, and was awarded his geshe degree in 1986. He now lives as a householder, and has been living and teaching in the West for more than 30 years. Rinpoche is the founder and spiritual director of Ligmincha International and the founder of CyberSangha, He is the author of many books, including the best-selling The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep: Practices for Awakening (Shambhala, 2022).
