A live online discussion with Danny Lewin, Ph.D., and host Geshe Tenzin Wangyal.
How do modern science and ancient Tibetan wisdom define the different states of sleep? What is the best advice for improving sleep and circadian health and being more aware while dreaming? What can researchers learn from the ancient practices of dream and sleep yoga? Psychologist Danny Lewin, Ph.D., former director of Clinical Sleep Medicine at the National Center on Sleep Research, joins Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche in an in-depth discussion of the health implications of sleeping and dreaming of the deities.

Please can these videos be hosted elsewhere than fb? I cannot access and the platform forces creating an account, entangling all the data plus it’s much harder to save the content vs for example youtube
Hi Annie, thanks for your note. Most of our broadcasts have been limited to Facebook for a variety of reasons, although recently some are being hosted on YouTube, as well. Sorry about the limitations. For now, you can view the live videos here on cybersangha.net, plus even if you don’t have a Facebook account you can view the recordings directly on Facebook via the link. If a window pops up prompting you to login to FB, just close that window to view. I hope this helps! — Polly
Unfortunately, none of the suggestions above work on my iPhone.
End up with a white Meta FB page after clicking on either black box video link or on the video on cybersangha.net
Please, advise. These are very valuable discussions and should be available wo FB involvment
Tiina, so sorry this isn’t working for you. If you have a computer, you should be able to access from there, but if not and your iPhone can’t display the recording, I don’t know of a solution at this time. Normally everyone should be able to view the recording directly on this and every other archived page without having to visit Facebook, but in recent months FB has flagged all the embedded videos containing Rinpoche’s mantra music as being content owned by someone else. We’ve been trying to get this resolved with them for many months, to no avail. Hopefully in time we’ll be able to upload all our content to YouTube or elsewhere, but we need volunteer help for this (we’re all-volunteer). If anyone would like to help with this project, please contact us: https://cybersangha.net/#contact
Thank you, Polly, for all your time and efforts!
I to was able to watch archived events and videos without any issues.
It’s really concerning that FB blocks and flags mantras?!
I used to be able to watch and listen on Cybersangha.net from archives.
I will contact you off-line via email, as you suggested. Hope we can do something about it.
