As we deepen our familiarity with resting in a state of spacious awareness, the obstacles and obscurations of our habitual patterns naturally dissolve into the openness of our true nature and our positive qualities spontaneously arise. In a live Internet broadcast, Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche guides us in resting deeply in awareness of inner spaciousness.

In advance of viewing, Rinpoche encourages creating a bit of space for meditation in your house — in a quiet, peaceful location where you can feel some sense of warmth and connection to yourself. You might provide a comfortable cushion to sit on, and a candle or stick of incense. A supportive outer space can support your inner space during meditation.

I found the identification of the difference between feeling and emotion helpful and necessary.

In response to your question about practice resting in the arms of the mother–I think of what it was like, holding my infant child, how they insisted on being held in their special spot like it was their birthright to be there, and how completely and happily they rested, and that is my model.
After the Spaciousness of Mind time I feel very enveloped in care. Thank you.
I found the music and chanting a distraction during meditation
Feeling very peaceful now
I want practise with You, so please be in touch with me.
Thank You

Thank you. Thank you a lot. Now in spanish because I don’t have the words in english, I’m sorry! Gracias por tu amorosidad; por el cuidado que das a las necesidades de la humanidad.
Descansar, en mi corazón en la espaciosidad como en mi madre fue redescubrir la calidez de mi corazón, y que puedo vivir en él y que quiero vivir en el.
Hello, I get so much out of this practice. I would like to share that when we get to the part of feeling mothers love, it brings up a lot of pain because I have not had that. I find that thinking about the mother’s love for my child feels better, provides me with a feeling of love but not sure if I am obscuring or blocking healing with this change.
Even with this change I can feel this work is helping me lots. I am more able to not get hooked into my negative emotions and I can turn the tape recorder in my mind off when it wants to run negativity or fearful thoughts.
Thank you Rinpoche.❤️
I want to add that I definitely feel spontaneous joy while doing the practice. Thank you.
I cannot thank you enough for these practices. I thank everybody that makes this possible in this possible in these dire times.
Rinpoche when you said , cannect with your mother like child and feel her arms.i directly cannect with earth ( clay) and feel her arms with love. I respect my biological mother , I listen to her work but this type of cannect ion only i feel with clay and feeling emotionally , safe with earth.is that ok or wrong ?
Rinpoche, very probably you have heard this before: may I congratulate you about your ability to relate to the western (american) public. Great job, because through this we appreciate your teachings. I loved the part about the people in prision and the part where you showed your dog. THis shows your flexibility.
Thank you with my hands above my head.
