HOW TO PARTICIPATE

All of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche’s Facebook Live broadcasts are free and open to all. You don’t need a Facebook account to view them.

To access the viewing screen

To access the viewing screen simply visit Rinpoche’s Facebook page at the time of the broadcast. (If you’re not a Facebook member, a pop-up window may prompt you to login; simply close that window to continue as a visitor.) Or, you can visit the page at cybersangha.net devoted to the specific live broadcast you wish to view — for most broadcasts, the livestream will be embedded there. If the screen doesn’t appear at the scheduled time, try reloading the page.

To receive a notification each time Rinpoche goes live
You can receive advance notifications of CyberSangha broadcasts by subscribing to the CyberSangha News email list. But to be notified as soon as Rinpoche goes live, you’ll need a Facebook account. Be sure to “like” his page, and under “Following,” choose “See First.” That way you’ll be less likely to miss any of his scheduled or unscheduled broadcasts.

To join the chat

To join the chat, as a Facebook member you can enter your greeting or other message in the comment field. During most broadcasts, an assigned chat host will be there to share information that can enhance your viewing experience.

To access recordings when you can’t watch live

A recording of each live broadcast is available immediately after the live version ends — visit the video archives page to locate recordings of interest. If the broadcast was recent, it may not yet appear in the archives. In that case, simply visit Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche’s Facebook video page and scroll down to “All Videos” to find the most recent recordings.

To listen to a translation in the language of your choice

Most live broadcasts are simultaneously translated into multiple languages, and these live translations are also available as recordings immediately after the broadcast ends. If one of our volunteer translators is unable to translate live, sometimes he or she will record a translation at a later date. Visit the Languages & Translation page for instructions on how to access these live and recorded translations.

To converse with others between broadcasts

To converse with others between broadcasts, join the CyberSangha Discussion Group. This forum permits Facebook members to share their experiences of the meditation practices and learn from the experiences of others. We ask that you view one or more broadcasts (live or in the archives) before joining, and to read the group guidelines before posting. To receive your invitation to join the group, send a request via email.
