About the Team

Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche first began offering a regular program of free live webcasts in 2009 with the devoted support of one, two, then more volunteer students. In 2016 Rinpoche assembled a core team of seven volunteers from North and South America and Western Europe to help him realize a larger vision for broadcasting on Facebook Live. The social media platform permitted him to reach a wide audience from his ongoing worldwide travels using only his personal smartphone as a broadcasting studio. Since then CyberSangha has grown to incorporate dozens of volunteers who, working in unison, communicate with each other frequently via text from nearly 25 countries worldwide, helping to ensure that as many interested people as possible can benefit from Rinpoche’s life-changing teachings, guided meditations, and stimulating panel discussions
